Naweed Khan is the Executive Director of New Direction (ND) (www.europeanreform.org), a Brussels based free-market think tank and publisher established in 2010 by Margaret Thatcher. With offices in Warsaw, Rome and London, ND is the official foundation of the leading Conservative political movement, the Alliance of Conservatives and Reformists in Europe (ACRE) and is led by senior Law & Justice Party MEP from Poland, Mr Tomasz Poreba.
Naweed has previously served as Special Advisor at the Foreign & Commonwealth Office and Special Advisor at the Cabinet Office under Prime Minister David Cameron’s first Administration. Prior to that, Naweed worked as a policy advisor at the Conservative Party’s Research Department (CRD) in London.
During his 15-year career, Naweed has managed several successful political and electoral campaigns across the UK and Europe. He was educated at the University of Cambridge and Peking University.
